Egnyte

One unified platform to manage your digital content.

As an accredited Egnyte MSP we have many years experience managing, installing and migrating businesses to Egnyte.

We have worked with Egnyte for over 10 years and in that time every customer we have migrated to Egnyte has never looked back. Businesses that were using Egnyte before the pandemic were in a great position to continue working either remotely or in a hybrid capacity with minimal disruption.

We chose Egnyte and you should too for these three reasons:

1.Hybrid Cloud & On Premise (Smart Cache)

This is a game changing feature, especially for creative environments or businesses working with large files who need fast access across a local network to a file share. Most cloud file sharing solutions, like Microsoft One Drive or DropBox do not synchronise with your onsite file servers and this leads to duplicating data and makes workflows cumbersome and vulnerable to versioning issues. By utilising Egnyte Smart Cache the team in the office can benefit from fast access to a local server and any remote users can access the same pool of data from any remote location. This is where point 2 below is also essential.

2. Global File Locking

Egnyte can do what other cloud solutions cannot do. When a user in the office opens a file, the file is locked preventing others from accidentally opening the same file from the cloud servers. This is managed automatically. This means users regardless of location can work on files in the same way they have always worked when working from a file server in the office.

3. Security

In our opinion your data is probably going to be the most secure it has ever been if its stored on Egnyte. Egnyte impressively meets the following compliance and should cover almost every eventuality a business may require. When managed and configured by Roadmap IT we can also integrate Egnyte with other Identity Management or SSO solutions to ensure security is in place across multiple systems.
