Here Design is a London-based branding agency with a team of around 40 designers, strategists and creative professionals.
Creative studios operate in fast-paced environments where collaboration, speed and reliability are critical. Here Design manages large volumes of creative data (over 60TB), with individual files often reaching 10GB in size.
Roadmap has been the organisation’s managed IT partner since 2018, providing both day-to-day operational support and strategic IT management to ensure the technology environment supports the way the studio works.
The Challenge
Creative agencies face a unique set of technology challenges.
Large design files demand high-performance storage, while modern teams increasingly need the flexibility to work from different locations. At the same time, client data must remain secure and systems must be simple enough that they never slow down the creative process.

This allows devices and users to be securely managed from any location while maintaining consistent security policies across the organisation.
Zero-Touch Apple Device Deployment
Integration with Apple’s device enrolment systems enables automated Mac deployment.
New devices can be purchased, connected to the internet and automatically configured with the correct applications, security settings and policies.
Hybrid File Infrastructure for Creative Workflows
Handling large creative files is a critical requirement.
Roadmap implemented a hybrid file platform using Egnyte, combining:
• High-speed local studio storage
• Secure cloud access for remote users
The system intelligently directs users to the appropriate storage depending on their location, ensuring studio teams maintain high performance while remote users can still access files securely.
Users with slower internet connections can synchronise files locally and continue working offline, with changes automatically synchronised back to the central storage platform.
Secure Email & Collaboration
Roadmap manages the organisation’s Microsoft 365 environment, providing:
• Email and collaboration tools
• Identity integration with JumpCloud
• Security and compliance management
To further strengthen email protection, Proofpoint is deployed to provide advanced email security and threat protection.
Connectivity & Communications
Roadmap also manages the organisation’s leased line internet connection and VoIP phone system, ensuring reliable connectivity and communications across the business.
